My student has dyslexia and is at a charter school. Charter school students, and students not struggling in both literacy and math, were excluded from BVSD's summer learning program this summer. There's no catch up program for her, even though she is still a year behind in literacy.

We are paying ~$2000 this summer to keep her on track to catch up in literacy this summer with an OG tutor. What about the kids whose parents are not able to finance and transport to separate tutoring?

We know how to fully educate dyslexic students. We just need BVSD to fully commit to doing so.
